California School Gardens Can Now Sell Their Produce
A bill that will allow schools to sell their garden produce and reinvest the money in their garden programs has been signed by Governor Jerry Brown.
AB 2367, written by Assemblywoman Susan Bonilla (D-Concord), is careful to mention that schools must follow all “applicable federal, state, and local health and safety requirements for the production, processing, and distribution of the produce.”
